My Fitness Story
Over my career working with hundreds of PT clients, and thousands of group exercisers, I have seen many people improve the course of their lives with strategic changes to their fitness program, mindset, or nutrition plan.
I also had to make deliberate changes to my exercise program for my own longevity. In my 20’s, I was a strength and conditioning coach, but suffered from chronic back and shoulder pain from unresolved sports injuries.
After several years of pain, I finally found the precision techniques of therapeutic Pilates, which resolved my pain, made me stronger than ever before, and most importantly— restored my confidence in keeping myself pain-free.
Now, after 15 years of teaching Pilates, and over 20 years in personal training, I teach weight training with safe and precise techniques, just like I teach Pilates. This helps clients feel stronger with less soreness, add muscle and bone density, metabolize more body fat, and often reduces or resolves aches and pains as well.
With a longevity mindset at the forefront of this shared experience— I believe we can all truly feel younger, and better, at an older age, if we create a longevity-minded fitness and nutrition program that works for us. This is what I do for my clients!
Sometimes, it’s the attention to detail— precision corrective work that can only be addressed in 1-on-1 training— that becomes that turning point in our lives.
Working together, we will address your fitness and wellness goals while executing a program that will be designed to bring you success, knowledge, and joy— with sustainable results now, and confidence in your body’s better future.
